We all have heard of the beauty of auroras. Many of us have even seen them! Well if you seen them you know how the look. It’s like magic of beauty. But the auroras form when charged particles emitted from the sun during a solar flare penetrate the earth’s magnetic shield and collide with atoms and molecules in our atmosphere. These collisions result in countless little bursts of light, called photons, which make up the aurora.
There are two types of auroras, Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis. Both are the same auroras and are mirror to each other! They both are equally beautiful and occur on the poles.

Hi
Thanks for the follow(s) * (+ likes), as the reason I write is to share.
* (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in cyberspace!)
# By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing world..or is it all done with mobile phones?
(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)
* or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)
“total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and chew gum at the same time)

Kind regards and all the best with your blog

Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing them.
I have only had a few experiences of seeing the Aurora Borealis, but they were under remarkable circumstances. You might enjoy my 3-part story, “Sacrifice,” posted May 17, 24, and 31.
